Our Fire Extinguisher Services

✔ Annual Inspections (OFC 6.2.7 & NFPA 10, Chapter 7)

  • Required at least once a year by a qualified technician.
  • Verifies extinguisher condition, proper mounting, accessibility, and legibility of labels.
  • Checks for damage, corrosion, pressure levels, and proper operation.

✔ Monthly Visual Inspections (NFPA 10, Section 7.2.2 & OFC 6.2.7.2)

  • Ensures fire extinguishers are charged, undamaged, and in their designated locations.
  • Can be performed by trained staff or our technicians as part of a scheduled service.

✔ Recharge & Refilling (NFPA 10, Section 7.8 & OFC 6.2.7.2 (1)(b))

  • Required after any use or when pressure levels are low.
  • Extinguishers are emptied, inspected, refilled, and re-pressurized as per manufacturer and NFPA 10 requirements.

✔ Hydrostatic Testing (NFPA 10, Chapter 8 & OFC 6.2.7.2 (1)(d))

  • Required every 5 or 12 years, depending on extinguisher type.
  • Confirms the integrity of the extinguisher cylinder to prevent failure.

✔ Extinguisher Replacement & Installation

  • Supplying and installing ABC, CO₂, Class K, Water, and other extinguisher types based on hazard classification and occupancy requirements.
  • Ensuring proper placement according to NFPA 10 and Ontario Fire Code.
